in a haze

Vintage sweater and collared button-up / Zara jeggings / Jeffrey Campbell Litas / Korean boutique satchel / Claire's knitted turban

It's extremely rare that you'll ever see me wearing jeans or any sort of pants in "real life," let alone in my outfit posts. But as a style blogger for the month of Claire's, I really had to cater to girls all over the world and somewhat forget the fact that in California, the coldest it gets here is around 60 degrees. Ergo, I slapped on some of my favorite (and only) jeggings, slouchy knit, and this sweet turban. I named this post after that last photo as you can probably tell the lack of sleep I've been getting has even surfaced into my photos (my eyes are indeed closed)...  was probably in a sleepy haze.

I discovered this Korean beauty a while back whilst perusing a NastyGal-esque website named StyleNanda that is originated in Korea, but wasn't inspired to post about it until I finally found out her name through Analisa from the Rouge Fox's blog post on it. I've never wanted to look like someone so badly. Wish I was a Korean that looked like this.

Neon and tarnished gold

Forever 21 chiffon dusty rose button-up / Vintage high waisted / Dooney & Bourke / Claire's neon nails / Art Gallery necklace

Here is one of the very first posts I did for Claire's during my style blogging month of November. They sent me this gold Art Gallery necklace that has easily become my staple accessory. Since finals are coming up and I'm slowly but surely beginning to crack with the pressure of senior year (I know, right? Senior year, really?!), I'll begin to start posting a lot of the posts I did for them. Hope you guys enjoy! :)

shopping downtown

Vintage white chiffon button up / Forever 21 silver arrowed collar / Karen Walker Number One sunnies / H&M pleather shorts / Target dotted tights / Mulberry Alexa look-a-like wholesaledress / J. Simpson Dany t-strap platforms

Spent yesterday at in Downtown Fullerton at the promenade with a best friend, catching up and relieving some stress [temporarily] caused by my AP Literature class. We ended up hitting the center's Buffalo Exchange and American Vintage. And as we were just about to stroll up and down the narrow streets lined with little boutiques and pubs, my hunger got the best of me and we headed on over to The Old Spaghetti Factory and ended our daytrip early. I, nonetheless, managed to purchase an entire outfit and can't wait to start cranking out more outfit posts! Until then.. back to slaving over this presentation I have for Toni Morrison's Beloved.

a walk in the park

H&M coffee croptop; Forever 21 dream catcher necklace; Vagabond Youth high waisted shorts; Karen Walker Number One sunnies; Natasha Marc by Marc Jacobs crossbody bag; Isabel Marant [Steve Madden] Dicker knockoff booties

I SOMEHOW ENDED up at the local park this weekend while running some menial errands for my family. I stayed to watch a shoot with a friend of a friend and actually got some outfit documentation myself (finally! haha). Nothing much too fancy or even worth documenting but I figured anything was better than nothing.

Although it's still winter, I think these photos serve as solid proof how sunny the city of angels stays all year long. I'm not complaining- even though the weather is just making me way too anxious for this year's trip to Coachella 2012. I had actually originally bought these Isabel Marant dicker booties knockoffs for the desert but couldn't wait to wear them out. They're so comfy minus the not-so-smooth transition of putting it on and off (Mr. Madden failed to design a zipper). Hope to be updating a lot more often once first semester finals end. Senioritis here I comeeee.http://rstyle.me/btm7femace
