post stomach flu

Urban Outfitters maxi dress, Dany Platforms, vintage belt

I feel it has been forever since I have done a decent post (this counting as indecent as well). For some reason, I've really been out of the funk lately, being overly stressed about college apps and not wanting to do anything but watch movies. (I should actually be writing my personal statements right this moment but meh.) Friday night I actually got the stomach flu which completely botched my plans this weekend to revamp the store's website and lookbook as well as updating this blog. Instead, I spent my the night barfing and groaning from massive headache pain. Hopefully, you'll see some more of me on my YouTube channel to say the least. I also finally got the notification for comments linked to my email and should be responding more. Prior to this, I never even knew when I got new comments! Anyways, until next time...

2012 S/S NYFW

photos: style.com

A really quick breakdown of what I absolutely loved seeing during this year's NYFW. As you can see, I'm totally swooning over the bright colors of all of these beautiful collections. I particularly loved Christian Siriano and Jill Stuart this season. I'm definitely excited to be wearing much more pastel-toned as well as vibrant hues of orange this spring. With so many new interests in different designers, I was not as swayed by my old favorites; I was not too fond particularly of the Olsens' The Row collection this year- too bland for me- as well as, unfortunately, one of my favorite designers Alexander Wang. (I don't know, maybe it was the wet hair.) In any case, I think I've turned over a new leaf this season. All hail pastel pinks and bright oranges/yellows.
