we were good as married in my mind, but married in my mind's no good

Today was Black Friday and unlike all my other fellow shopaholics, I woke up at 11am after a much needed good night's sleep, had some Thanksgiving leftovers for breakfast, and headed out to South Coast Plaza around 3pm. And though there were absolutely no sales at Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Bottega Veneta, et cetera, there was a line to go in every store! I then headed over to The Lab where Urban Outfitters was, in comparison, deserted. I bought these two things, both of which that weren't on sale for Black Friday. I've never been to a Black Friday surprisingly and I guess this year wasn't a time to experience something new either. Maybe next year? On another note, I will be attending the Weezer show tomorrow in Universal City, so as of late, I have been cranking the tunes louder than usual. They will be playing one of my all-time favorite albums in its entirety, Pinkerton. As an added bonus, Best Coasty, one of my favorite bands, is opening! To say I am a huge Weezer fan would be an understatement. I saw them in August for the US Surf Opening at Huntington Beach, just merely a few feets away from Rivers' face and like always, simply amazing...

How was Black Friday for everyone else? Get any great deals? I'm excited for Cyber Monday!

There's such a lot of world to see

As some of you can already tell, I have a certain affinity for Audrey Hepburn. In fact, my blog name comes from one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite movies: Moon River in Breakfast at Tiffany's. My room's central theme is actually dedicated to all Audrey Hepburn (as pictured above). To me, she is the epitome of classy.

Classy girls like her just don't exist in this day and age anymore.

Summer of 2010 in film

My summer was spent thrifting, visiting my brother in Union Square, taking SAT classes every other day, driving to fast food places, and frequenting to Wal-Mart across the street. I've finally taken the SAT and although most people would be satisfied with my score, I find there's no harm in taking it again! It's my junior year and I'm really excited to get things going. Lately, I've been focusing on my new business, VAGABOND YOUTH. It's been a lot of work but I really hope to get everything launched by 1/1/11. On a brighter note, I got my early Christmas gift! So my blog will officially be updated more as I've just acquired the Canon Rebel T1i. I'm no longer on hiatus :-) I'm also seeing the new Harry Potter tonight!! Excited, excited. I'm never a fan of the movies as I think they slaughter the books but it's Harry Potter!

Have anyone of you seen it?

HIATUS

If some of you haven't noticed already, I've been on a hiatus. In September, my camera that was on loan from my brother got taken back so for a couple of a months, I've been camera-less! I'd had to do with my camera phone since then. Hopefully for Christmas I will be getting a Canon Rebel T2i and my blog will be in complete renovation, my store will officially launch with a website, I'll start posting on lookbook.nu again, et cetera. But on another note, how was everyone's Halloween spent? The photo above was taken on my Halloween night that was spent at a friend's house talking about his unrequited love for one of my best friends. I don't party and I don't like candy. ;-)

Until December then!
