VAGABOND YOUTH GIVEAWAY

I'm currently in the process of starting up my new online store Vagabond Youth and I am giving away free BAMF wristbands to two lucky winners when our tumblr and twitter both reach 500 followers. You can RT from our twitter and you also reblog from our tumblr.

Humble abode

One night, I acquired extreme boredom and decided to take some snapshots of my room. Thus I present to you a slew of unedited photos in the dim light of 11pm. My favorite place, hands down, is my bed. Don't know how cranky I would be without it.

And I still think about you when I'm ridin in my car

Right now, I am eBaying dream catchers and burning cds for my car. O' happy day!!! Today I passed my driving test with only two points off (you can get fifteen before you fail.) I am soooo excited. Despite the tons and tons of SAT homework I have to do by tomorrow, I am literally the happiest person alive! My examiner told me I failed and I was dejected until he said he was kidding. I hugged him and nearly kissed him, but that would be really weird...even for me. I jumped up and down and was doing leprechaun hops all over the place. Finally! Street legal (;

Summer mood, summer musings

When you're on a golden sea, you don't need no memory

These pictures are from my spring break, spent at Seal Beach, California. We ate at Ruby's Diner, feeding my voracious appetite for french fries, and then headed over to Cold Stone. Unfortunately, the weather was just hitting the early 70's so I didn't get a chance to actually swim. Although I hate how dark my skin color is, I am never opposed to tanning.

On Janice // striped tank, UO; bikini, rosary, XXI; shorts, thrifted

AA Tube Socks
Officially last summer when I had a serious fetish for all things AmAppy; I spent my Fourth of July standing in line for one of their flea market sales at the warehouse in Downtown LA. I also stood by my twitter to win a contest that included a package of 10 free pieces of clothing. In that package, I received this very tie-dye viscose tank and knee-high socks, although my best friend did sport them for this sizzling day we decided to bike and skateboard. We both suck at sk8boarding, but Lords of Dogtown is one of our favorite movies to quote.

50s
A few photos taken back in August 09. This is when I first started to acknowledge blogging and all that jazz. My photos are sadly always taken at the same spot; the parking structure in front of my house. I promise I will be changing it up soon!

It's just a deadbeat summer

A lazy day spent at home, photos taken in my room again. California has finally started to get sweltering and it feels like after I walk out of the house, I am literally pushed into someone's giant armpit, thus making my shorts inevitably shorter...too humid for my taste! On a side note, I have my driving test this Tuesday and I am trying my best to keep my mind off it. Instead, I just think..."what to wear?" At times like these, I wish I had something sentimentally "lucky" to wear. :P

You're so last summer

Back when I was sportin' the fringe and promoting my online store, BAMF Accessories. Now I am going on another business venture and deserting my old one. However, all the accessories pictures above are still on sale. Advice of the day: the fringe does not cooperate with your complexion, so beware when chopping those babies.

I'll just keep it to myself in the sun, in the sun

Aside from attending SAT prep academy three days a week and completing AP summer assignments, my summer has been unusually uneventful. These days, the only places I frequent to are the mall or fast food places; I have been consuming excessive amounts of greasy food and spending money on cheap, frivolous things. Also been a bit suppressed by the SAT homework I receive and this solemn weather California is having as of late, but it has given me a better reason to stay home and watch LOST all day without seeming half as lame. I recently started watching Season 1 of LOST last week and was instantly riveted. I'm already finishing up Season 2, on a roll! Don't ever tell John Locke what he can't do, people. Ever.

Bling bling

On Friday, I cut my freakishly long hair two inches and took a snapshot of my newly trimmed hair which hopefully explains the Grudge-like photo. Still freakishly long, evidently. Also went to the mall to deposit a check and mindlessly picked up four new rings. I checked the receipt in the car and realized I had spent $21.07 on these frivolous things! Well, I'm still pleased. ;-)
